All Inclusive Intensive Outpatient Program in Carlsbad, California

Our All-Inclusive IOP in California
What Makes Our Programs Different?
Inclusive Approach: Latitude bridges the gap between clinical care and religious communities without adhering to any specific religious doctrine. Their language is rooted in shared values, promoting inclusivity and acceptance, making it a safe space for individuals of all belief systems, including those with a complicated relationship with religion.
Dynamic Telehealth Services: Latitude is rapidly expanding into telehealth. We offer specialized tracks (such as gender-specific or disorder-specific services) that utilize advanced technology to provide accessible care, ensuring continuity of support for clients who may not be able to attend in-person sessions or those living in more remote areas.
Experiential Therapy Activities: Latitude integrates experiential therapy into our recovery process, offering unique programs such as “Experiential Friday.” This initiative includes outdoor adventures, equine therapy, and other engaging activities aimed at stimulating clients’ interests, building a supportive sober community, and enhancing their recovery experience through fun and meaningful interactions.
Focus on Family & Community Engagement: Latitude places a strong emphasis on individualized family involvement without imposing formal family services. We offer a concierge-style approach to family work, allowing clients to involve their loved ones in the recovery process at their discretion. This non-judgmental stance encourages open communication and support throughout the treatment journey, which is crucial for sustained recovery.
Comprehensive Aftercare Planning: Latitude Recovery Center prioritizes the long-term success of our clients with highly personalized discharge planning and aftercare options. Each client collaborates with their clinical team to develop tailored next steps and goals during their treatment. This proactive approach ensures clients leave with a clear plan that supports continued growth and recovery, helping them navigate the transition from treatment back into their daily lives.

Evidence-Based Therapies We Offer
CBT is a structured, goal-oriented form of talk therapy. It works by helping clients manage mental health conditions by recognizing and changing unhelpful patterns of thinking and behavior.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
DBT is an evidence-based talk therapy model that can be useful in treating suicidal ideation and mood disorders. Like CBT, it addresses behavioral patterns through acceptance and change-oriented strategies.
Group Therapy and Process Groups
Latitude Recovery Center offers group therapy in which clients come together in a supportive environment. As a group, clients explore their emotions, relationships, and personal growth. This is done under the guidance of a trained therapist.
Individual Counseling and In-Person Therapy Sessions
Our facility offers both in-person and telehealth options for individual therapy. Working one-on-one with your therapist, you will make progress toward your set goals as part of your outpatient treatment program.
Experiential and Values-Integrated Interventions
Awakening our clients’ muted inner voices is part of our treatment methodology. Through experiential sessions, clients can (re)discover interests and align more deeply with their personal values in a hands-on capacity.
Medication Management and Psychiatric Support
Our psychiatry team offers exceptional ongoing healthcare for mental health challenges and substance use disorders. We provide medication management and psychiatric support as part of our outpatient programming.
Case Management, Treatment Planning & Skill Development
Every client is an individual. Care is determined on a case-by-case basis and managed accordingly. Part of our client care includes training in new wellness skills. These include coping skills that will last beyond outpatient care and contribute to continued well-being.

FAQs
In an intensive outpatient program, you live at home and continue your daily activities outside your care. Inpatient or residential treatment is full-time care that requires participants to stay at the facility for the duration. This flexibility of IOP allows individuals to maintain their personal responsibilities while receiving essential treatment. By integrating their recovery process into their everyday life, patients can better prepare for sustained sobriety and adjust to their post-treatment lives.
Latitude Recovery Center’s IOP runs for three hours daily, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, for a total of 15 hours per week. This schedule provides a structured framework while allowing patients the flexibility to manage their personal and professional commitments. The program’s design encourages consistent progress and accountability while offering support through group dynamics in a therapeutic environment.
Our IOP is all-inclusive; no religious beliefs are required to benefit from Latitude’s programming. We will build your care around your goals and needs. Our focus is on providing a supportive environment that respects each individual’s beliefs and values, creating a space where anyone can feel comfortable seeking help. Through this faith-based framework, we aspire to foster a sense of community and connection among participants.

This balance contributes to overall success in their recovery journey.

If you or your loved one requires a higher level of care than our outpatient facility can offer, Latitude will support placement in the appropriate programming. We work with other facilities to create seamless continuity of care. Our staff is committed to ensuring a smooth transition and maintaining communication with other providers to facilitate comprehensive support. This collaborative approach enhances the recovery experience and helps effectively address all of a patient’s needs.
