What Makes Our Programs Different?

Concierge Dual-Diagnosis Treatment Model: Latitude offers a personalized concierge model that combines partial hospitalization programs (PHP), intensive outpatient programs (IOP), and outpatient services within the same location. This innovative structure emphasizes individualized care, allowing clients to move seamlessly between levels of care based on their specific needs.

Inclusive Approach: Latitude bridges the gap between clinical care and religious communities without adhering to any specific religious doctrine. Their language is rooted in shared values, promoting inclusivity and acceptance, making it a safe space for individuals of all belief systems, including those with a complicated relationship with religion.

Dynamic Telehealth Services: Latitude is rapidly expanding into telehealth. We offer specialized tracks (such as gender-specific or disorder-specific services) that utilize advanced technology to provide accessible care, ensuring continuity of support for clients who may not be able to attend in-person sessions or those living in more remote areas.

Experiential Therapy Activities: Latitude integrates experiential therapy into our recovery process, offering unique programs such as “Experiential Friday.” This initiative includes outdoor adventures, equine therapy, and other engaging activities aimed at stimulating clients’ interests, building a supportive sober community, and enhancing their recovery experience through fun and meaningful interactions.

Focus on Family & Community Engagement: Latitude places a strong emphasis on individualized family involvement without imposing formal family services. We offer a concierge-style approach to family work, allowing clients to involve their loved ones in the recovery process at their discretion. This non-judgmental stance encourages open communication and support throughout the treatment journey, which is crucial for sustained recovery.

Comprehensive Aftercare Planning: Latitude Recovery Center prioritizes the long-term success of our clients with highly personalized discharge planning and aftercare options. Each client collaborates with their clinical team to develop tailored next steps and goals during their treatment. This proactive approach ensures clients leave with a clear plan that supports continued growth and recovery, helping them navigate the transition from treatment back into their daily lives.

What Our IOP Addresses

Substance Use Disorder & Compulsive Behaviors

At Latitude Recovery Center, our team of clinicians is versed in a variety of co-occurring disorders that contribute to substance use disorder. This includes other compulsive behaviors or actions that are repeated despite their negative consequences.

Anxiety Disorders, Depression & Mood Disorders

Latitude treats various anxiety disorders, depression, and mood disorders that co-occur alongside SUD. These mental health conditions may have developed due to SUD or may be the catalyst that led to substance abuse. Regardless of how it occurred, Latitude Recovery Center is equipped to treat symptoms that affect daily life.

Bipolar Disorder, Trauma, Grief & Stress-Related Conditions

We recognize that bipolar disorder, a mental health condition characterized by extreme high and low mood swings, can also couple with and contribute to substance use. Pinpointing and treating its presence is just as crucial as understanding the role of grief and other stress-related conditions when supporting our clients.

ADHD, Obsessive Behaviors & Eating Disorders

Other impulsive or compulsive behaviors, such as attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and eating disorders, can occur alongside SUD. During our intake process, the Latitude staff will screen clients as needed to ensure a comprehensive care approach that treats all existing conditions.

Beliefs, Values & Personal Meaning in Recovery

Regardless of your beliefs, you are welcome at Latitude. Our programming preserves space for each client’s beliefs and values. However, our inclusive treatment methods are non-religious. Religion can be incorporated into your care, but its inclusion is determined by the client.

FAQs

How does an intensive outpatient program differ from inpatient or residential treatment?

In an intensive outpatient program, you live at home and continue your daily activities outside your care. Inpatient or residential treatment is full-time care that requires participants to stay at the facility for the duration. This flexibility of IOP allows individuals to maintain their personal responsibilities while receiving essential treatment. By integrating their recovery process into their everyday life, patients can better prepare for sustained sobriety and adjust to their post-treatment lives.

Latitude Recovery Center’s IOP runs for three hours daily, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, for a total of 15 hours per week. This schedule provides a structured framework while allowing patients the flexibility to manage their personal and professional commitments. The program’s design encourages consistent progress and accountability while offering support through group dynamics in a therapeutic environment.
